Manny Pacquiao can be a future Boxing commentator?

In the midst of a heated political compaign, Manny Pacquiao is taking a timeout to do commentary on the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Shane Mosley. Manny will fly in and out of Manilla on Sunday to work as a commentator for GMA-7 and Solar Sports. Manny will be alongside Quinito Henson and Chino Trinidad.
The PacMan has worn many hats over the last few years: boxer, musician, basketball player, actor, politician and now commentator. With his insight and popularity, does Manny have a future as a boxing commentator?
Restrictions
For Manny to be able to provide commentary he must abide by the following restrictions according to Solar Sports marketing manager Vitto Lazatin via Philstar.com:
“We checked the Comelec rules. He can work the fight but not talk about the May 10 elections. If he does, then we’re in trouble.”
This means Manny can’t use this opportunity to try and gain more votes in his political race.
Insight
Manny is obviously the world’s best boxer and his insight into this fight will be well worth it. Manny can provide information, details, analysis, and so much that the average commentator is unable to. Manny can also breakdown Floyd and Shane’s game-plans and any overheard comments from their respective corners between the rounds.
Popularity
This Mayweather and Mosley fight is already at a fever pitch, so adding Manny to the televised commentary will draw even more attention. Manny’s world-wide legion of fans will tune in (if possible) to listen as the PacMan adds his take on the fight.
Intrigue
Many will want to tune in and see how Manny talks about Floyd Jr. Will Manny discuss the drug testing? Will Manny talk about potential fights? Will Manny talk about the law suit? How will he respond to any mentioning of his name by Mayweather or Mosley after the fight? These are all questions that are intriguing to see of Manny addresses.
“Manny Pacquiao’s opinion will be heard because we all know that both Shane Mosley or Floyd Mayweather could end up facing him. Maybe we can get a glimpse of what’s next or who’s next for Pacquiao,” Solar Sports marketing manager Vitto Lazatin,Philstar.com

A Future?
Montel Brown Sacramento, CA “Do you see Manny having a future in boxing commentary?”
If Manny decides this is something he would like to do, then I think he will have a future. I for one would like to listen to his insight and analysis. He’s been an actor and a singer, which means that he has a comfort level of speaking to the audience.
Could Manny be the next Jim Lampley?
I throw this in there because Jim is arguably the most recognized Boxing commentator. I also enjoy George Foreman, Bert Sugar, and sometimes Larry Merchant. I’ve grown accustomed to listening to these guys. I think Manny could be a great addition once he retires especially on the international level. I would love to see Manny scream "BANG BANG BANG, BANG!"
Do you readers think Manny has a future in boxing commentary?
